Im not so great with cars and really need to get mine fixed. I took it to get a smog check and it failed. The guy told me that there wasn't enough fuel getting into the engine. Why would it not be getting enough fuel and what would I have to do to fix it?

Hi Aliskater14,

If it is an injected model, check the fuel filter. If it is clogged, it would cause fuel flow to be low. Nex t you need to check the fuel regulator and fuel pump.
Any vacumn leaks after the MAP sensor needs to be checked too.

Those are basics that would cause the probelm and if they still don't, there will be much more to do.

Carburetted models means you have to check the fuel filter and carburettor.
