Hi,

Just so I understand you are leaking fluid and it doesn't move forward or reverse?

What color is the fluid? I suspect the armadillo put a hole in the transmission pan or case causing the fluid to leak out. You are not going to have any check engine light because there is no fluid level sensor for the transmission.

Unfortunately, it appears you have a CVT transmission which means you probably don't have a dipstick to check the fluid. So I attached the process on how to fill the fluid. Basically you want to pull the overflow plug and see if there is fluid in the unit. However, if we identify the fluid as transmission fluid then this is not needed.

Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks.

Since I have full coverage the insurance company paid towing to a mechanic. After looking at it. He said I had a transmission line that was dry rotted and that's where the fluid was coming from. Said he found nothing else. I thank you for answering my question.

Makes sense. Maybe the armadillo was the straw that finally caused it to give out. Either way, thanks for the update. I am sure that information will help others that may have a similar issue (maybe less the armadillo). Come back in the future if you need anything else. Thanks
