I was driving home from work yesterday (04/17/20) and then something sounded like it fell off or out of the car and now it's making an clacking sound and both the battery and brake lights are on. I checked the brakes and they work perfectly, I stopped of in a pull through area and shut off and turned back on the car with ease. What could be the issue?

I suspect this this was a wheel speed sensor issue or something from the road made contact with the wiring for the wheel speed sensor and now you have an open circuit for the sensor.

Let's start with checking for codes. If you don't have a scan tool to do this then most parts stores can pull them free of charge. Just make sure they are able to pull ABS codes. Not all tools can do this so we need to make sure it can.

Let me know what codes are there and we can go from there. Thanks
