Will not stay running

I just changed the fuel pump as well as the fuel filter and when I start my car it will crank and run for a few seconds and then kind of sputter and shut off.

This sounds like a fuel issue so we need to start there because you may have a faulty pump or an issue with the filter.

Basically, the flow on the filter is supposed to go one direction but they normally only go in one direction.

This means we need to start with checking the fuel pressure and here is a guide that will help with this:
