I drove my car today and my car started overheating and when I put coolant in it, it drank the coolant up real fast and when I pulled over it has steam coming from by the coolant just and from the bottom of the car. What does that mean?

Good morning.

The overheating may have damaged the head gasket. Further complications may have resulted by adding cold coolant to a hot engine. That may done more damage.

You need to have a shop evaluate the issue and give you the results. It sounds like you have major engine damage.
