Electrical problem
2004 GMC Yukon V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have taken the battery to be checked and Autozone said that it was good. The cabels are clean and tight but when I turn the switch the engine makes a tick tick tick sound and everything goes out. Money is tight and I have to be at work in the morning please help. Thank You

Makes three clicks then goes dead no dash lights?
If you release key to run position do you have power? Are the clicks comming from engine compartment?

It comes from the engine compartment. It reminds me of the sound that a selinoid switch makes when it goes bad.
