HI: I have a 2002 yukon that i've been having replace the fuel pump every 3 to 4 months the past year. I have replaced the connector at the pump, filter, pressure regulator. I change the fuel filter every month and the fuel that comes out is black every time. I have checked and cleaned the ground wire on the frame. I dont know what else to do about this problem I hope you can help. Thanks JOE

Hello, what kind of gas are you using, have you tried a different brand? Is the gas tank/s clean? Oem pumps?

There are bulletins about not running E85 in a non-flexfuel vehicle. I don't know if that would turn the gas black?

If nobody else has any better ideas,
Have you tried talking to acdelco? Do they have any ideas? There is a contact link at the bottom of their page. I've emailed them a few times about some of their parts, they always reply, sometimes it takes a day or two.
