I have a 2000 gmc safari with 115,000 on it. It wouldn't start about six months ago and so I replaced the fuel pump and it worked for a while. I was told the wires and plugs were bad so I did a complete tune up. The propblem still came back. Finally I listened for power to the fuel pump and heard none so I replaced the relay and it fixed it for a few months. Now the problem is back and I hear nothing at the pump when I turn the key. Is there something besides the relay or the pump? Maybe a fuse or something shorting that is causing my problem. I really don't want to try replacing the fuel pump again until I have exhausted every other option.
