Air Conditioning problem
1996 Other GMC Model V6 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 141 00 miles

My 1996 LS blazers a/c stopped working this summer Despite numerous attemps at fixing it, it still does not work. It has had another compressor on & recharged 3 times plus some type of valve replaced. It is o.K for 1 day then blows warm again. Would appreciate any help on this.

Hi there, is the system loosing gas? If so, have your technician 1/2 fill the system with refrigerant and add leak detector dye, this dye is harmless to the system, is a bright green colour and will help detect the smallest leak. Also the high and low side pressures can be checked and any inconsistencies can help determine any internal faults.
