I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy we replaced the fuel pump and after that it started misfiring had codes read and said misfire on 5th cylinder changed spark plugs and wires and distributor cap still doing it any suggestions?

Under the plantum there is a fuel inj control unit. This is 6 popit valves they have orings on them the orings go bad and cause too much gas into cyl and misfire. Not a extremely hard job but care must be taken. Good luck billymac
