Might damage the fuel pump- The best way to prevent damage to the electric fuel pump (which is located inside the fuel tank) is to refill the tank when you are at 1/4 of a tank or slightly less. Don’t wait until tank is on E. Or use dry gas or siphon it out

That depends on the quantity, a little bit wont hurt, but the performance wont be the best.

Too much and the vehicle wont start, so no harm done there,

if you got in the middle of the two is worse, vehicle will run but barely, will run very lean and damage the engine and other components.

Either way drain the tank, and change fuel filter.
