The car recently had a complete set of brakes and tune up, and the dealer supposedly turned the warning lights off. Now they come on intermittently, and when they do, the HVAC does not work. The dealer has no idea how to fix this. Help!

Is this all the lights on the panel? What are they? Do you have the lights before tune up? Or after tune up?
Or it is the "change oil light?"If it not all the light, can you name them?
Thank you for providing more informations

The lights that come on are ABS, brake light, "brake service needed" and "tune up needed". A bell also rings about 20x. These all happen at the same time, and go off on their own at the same time, which returns the HVAC function to normal. There is no pattern in how often these lights come on and off.

Forgot to add that yes, they were on before the tune up and brake job, and supposedly the dealer turned them "off"when the work was done. They don't have any idea why this is happening.

Is the bell ringing same as if you forget the key in the car, while opening the car door?
Tell me what you do while driving before the lights come on, just driving? Braking?
I know that they go off on their own, but I want to know what happens before that.
I'm trying to put peaces together, so be patient.

In answer to your question, the bell ring happens when the brake warning light comes on. It is the same one that occurs if the brakes need servicing.

There is NO PATTERN to when these lights come on and off. Sometimes they occur when the ignition is turned on, sometimes they occur during driving, they usually turn off one at a time but generally come on all together. They can stay on for a few hours or a few days.

The dealer who performed the tune up and brake job, the GM dealer in Oakland, CA, is aware of these problems and tried to "re-program" the onboard computer the last time the car was brought to him with these complaints. That did not fix the problem.

There is one way I see this problem.
The circuit board need to be check.
It must be remove from the vehicle and check for resistance.I suppose there is no burn fuse, so it might be a short to power somewhere in the circuit board.
Have the dealer remove the whole circuit board, or if you think you can do it yourself, let me know.
