My gas gauge started to go down to a quarter and stop now it stops at half. I am going to try some Gumout multi system tune up to see if maybe there is some corrosion on the float. I do not drive this SUV much. Maybe twice a month.

It sounds like you have a float sender that is out which is common with cars that sit a lot. To fix the issue you will need to remove the float sender and replace it. Here is what you are in for when doing the job:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hi Ken, I filled my tank yesterday and added Gumout multi system tune up. I got in to go this morning and it turned over but would not fire, I have not had any trouble with it firing up and it ran fine. I can hear the fuel pump run when I turn the switch on maybe the coil is bad. What do you think?

It sounds more like a crankshaft angle sensor. Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when doing the job:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/crankshaft-angle-sensor-replacement

This guide can help as well.

Please run down these guides and diagrams and report back.
