After disconnecting the negative battery cable, then replacing the fuel filter, the car will not start?

I disconnected the negative battery cable, then replaced the fuel filter. I turned the key back and forth a few times then tried to start, but only turns over.

Hi,

That is an odd one. Replacing the fuel filter shouldn't have caused an issue. When you first turn the key to the run position (before engaging the starter motor), do you hear the fuel pump prime? Are you certain the fuel filter was installed correctly? On some filters, the fuel can flow in one direction only.

If you are not sure, we need to check the fuel pump pressure to see if it is still within the manufacturer's specifications.
