Was driving. Stopped at a light. Car shut off. Towed home.
Has spark.

Replaced complete ignition switch. $200.00. Replaced ECM $300.00. Replaced pgmfi main relay $50.00. Rwplaced fuel pump and strainer under warranty.

Switched distributor with known good one. Replaced igniter, coil, rotor button, cap, plug ires, and spark plugs. New battery. Has half tank of fresh fuel.

I have used jumper wires from pin #1 to #3, #3 to #5, and #5 to #7. Also jumped pin #2 to #8 on main relay. Fuel pump turns on. Power to yellow/black wire at fuel injector harness with ignition switch on. Injectors do not pulse. Connected test light to injector harness while cranking to see if injectors pulsed. Will not run.

Has battery voltage to pin #1, 3, 5, 8 switch on, pgmfi main relay connected. Power to #6 on main relay when starting only. No power to #7. #2 is ground. Tested MAP. Was good. I can hear fuel going through return line at fuel rail when pins are jumped. I believe I have replaced everything that has anything to do with running. Recently replaced radiator, alternator, starter, head gasket intake and exhaust gasket, all eight exhaust valves, steering rack, tie rod ends front wheel bearings, front rotors and pads, rear shoes. As you see, I have invested a ton of money in this car. I loaned it to a friend and it shuts off at a stoplight.

Also cleaned and tightened the ground at thermostat housing. Tested and replaced all fuses under hood and under dash. Have also replaced timing belt and tension-er, along with water pump, front main seal, oil pan gasket, piston rings, rod bearings, engine mounts, all hoses, belts, valve cover gasket with o-rings, and changed all fluids. Did all this over a one year period. There is probably more parts I have replaced, I just cannot think of them now.

Any new ideas on what to do next would be appreciated.

Hello,

It sounds like the PCM is going bad, but lets run the codes to see what comes up. Here is a guide:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/honda-car-1990-1995-obd1-code-retrieval-procedure-and-definition-table

Please run down this guide and report back.

Cheers, Ken
