My truck started on Saturday morning and when I went to get gas and then start it back up the truck didn’t start. I have a brand new fuel pump since September and a brand new fuel filter and the truck still does not start.

Hello,

What exactly does your vehicle do when you turn the ignition key? Does the engine crank and not start? Does it sound like a machine going off? Or does it do nothing at all?

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP). Your vehicle uses this sensor to determine when the number 1 cylinder is at TDC of the compression stroke and as such uses it's signal to synchronize and fire the fuel injectors and coils. In the diagrams down below I have include the factory instructions for the removal and installation of your vehicle's CMP. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
