Okay Roy. The new Delphi came in late today. Got it installed but still got problems. Uploading videos of pressure at fuel rail and voltage while running. Pressure running at 28psi and voltage or 13.

Did you clamp off the return line and check the pressure?

I want to see if it dead heads at over 50 pounds.

Did't last night. Be at work all day today. Will check late this afternoon. Starting to think maybe the regulator I got from partsgeek. Com not strong enough. Already backtracked and ordered another one rated at 40 psi from advance auto parts. The pressure at the valve was only 28 running and when it shut off it jumped up to 32. But this one didn't drop like the last one it held pressure and the voltage at the pump with switch on was over 12 and running was over 13. This is starting to aggravate me, really stressing. Thanks for the help and any future help. Slow typer. This would be so much better on streaming or phone. Have a good and blessed day, Roy.

Hey Roy, got in my new BWD pressure regulator. Now it goes up to 22psi while running and 32psi when it shuts off. Clamped off fuel return line at pump and it goes up to 120-130psi bouncing back and forth. So, replaced new Airtex pump with new Delphi and new regulator with new BWD and still shutting off.

This is really confusing that the pressure will not come up to spec.

The dead head pressure is good. It is almost to the point that you need to get an adjustable regulator to get the correct pressure.

I am on it. I did not forget you.

I am looking at other options to get this pressure to where it should be.

Okay, question for you.

Did you replace the entire unit or just the pump?

I saw one assembly that had a regulator on the tube from the pump to the outlet to the front of the truck?

My truck listed above splash has extended cab. So if they asked if it was or wasn't, when purchasing parts.I stated that it was extended. Because it has backseats.

Just out of curiosity, remove the vacuum line from the regulator and see what happens to the pressure.

It should go up.
