Ran vehicle low on fuel, now it will crank but want run for more than five to ten minutes before it shuts off. It seems to build pressure over night and will crank, I can drive it about a mile before it shuts off.

I pulled the fuel pump and drained the filter, then replaced it and the vehicle cranked and ran for five minutes before them.

I bought a fuel pressure regulator but I am not sure where it is located.

Please note I had a full service done three months ago, with new spark plugs, and wires. The vehicle was running fine until the low fuel incident.

Hello, I am Danny.

One of the worst things to do unfortunately to an in-tank pump is run them low/dry on fuel. I have attached a picture of where the fuel pressure regulator as you requested and circled it in red. It is located on the drivers side of engine near the throttle body. It is held on by two 10mm socket size bolts. Hope this helps and please feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
