Transmission problem
1999 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the engine runs good but when I put the transmission in gear (drive/reverse) it wont move the first time it happened I put it on reverse and nothing the I pushed the gas more and it moved slowly in reverse when I went forward I had to accelerate a lot for it to move since then it wont move foreword or reverse what could the problem be thanks

Make sure the fluid is full. Also, make sure the linkage to the trans is attached. If these are ok, chances are you will need to have it checked by a transmission tech. It may have internal damage.
