1995 Ford Windstar Trouble

I have a 95 Windstar 3.8. Van will shift into reverse but not in-gage into Drive. No leaks, no burning of fluid and fluid is clean as anything. No metal shavings in pan etc. Only other problem is O/D light flashes when van was driving. Any suggestions. Thanks for your time.

Hi Dan,

It would help if you can get codes pulled. It could be the pump, shift seleniods, internal failure, there is so many possibilities.

You can also check the tranny fluid pressure, you will need a pressure test.
