1998 Ford Windstar interior lights and door problem

When I shut the door and the llights on the dash says that a door is open and shut all the doors and make sure they are shut, why do the lights not shut off, and it could be a possibility that somethign on the door is not working, Especially the side door

Try this cure, buy a can of brakekleen and a can of spray white lithium grease, spray the latch area, thats the claw in the door where it closes, spray liberally with brakleen, open and close the door 5-6 times, repeat, then spray with the white lube, open and close the door 5-6 times. Reapeat on all doors.
