AC blower starts shutting down

I have a "94 T Bird, LX, 4.6. About 2 months ago I had the compressor replaced by an excellent mechanic. It works fine around town. After about 30 minutes on the highway the air flow decreases significanlty and the air gets warmer. You can hear the blower motor going on high. Any thoughts?

First thought is that the system has to be recharged. It may have a small leak in system, take it back to the mechanic and have him check the system, there is leak dectecter that can be added
that shows if there are any leaks.
