My 2003 taurus stalls when rpm reaches any where from 3-4000 it almost acts like the governor shuts it down.I put new plugs wires air and fuel filters on. There is a code that comes up (0133) it says it is a heated o2 sensor. I have been reading up on this car and it seems pretty common on the 2002&03 models around 80000 miles. People have said they have put on what I have also changed the mass air sensor fuel pump o2 sensors solenoid with no results. Also the rpm Gage jumps around I was wondering if this has a sensor that could be making the governor kick on or what you think or know what is causing this? Thanks

Hello,

It sounds like you might have an issue with the idle air control valve (IAC).
When the IAC goes bad it can impact the idle of the vehicle. Many times it will idle unusually high, other times it will barley idle as the air flow through the IAC becomes inconsistent.

Try servicing the IAC. As the IAC gets dirty overtime due to large air particles sticking to the inside of the valve.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
