2001 Ford Taurus Fuel Pump replaced but car will not turn o

I had my car. Read through one of the dianostic computers. The code that came back said my fuel pump need to be replace.I had it replace and the car still will not start? Any Ideas on whats going on

Did you reset the fuel pump? The switch in usally in the truck and is built to shut off in a wreck.
