A couple of days ago my car started moaning and groaning then the powersteering went out I checked the fluid and it was empty so I purchased more after I added more fluid the steering was still hard so I checked it the fluid was gone again but the thing about this is I have not seen any fluid in the road or in the drive way

Fill the system again and check for leak
ask a helper to turn the wheel all the way to one side with engine running
and hold it position
check for leaks around the pump and hoses
if still can not find any leaking fluid check in the boot of the rack & pinion
if fluid present in the boot rack no good
