When my car is at a complete stop (like at a red light) and when we accelerate and go, the car tends to "jump" when the RPM hits 2. After that, she drives perfect. Just wondering what exactly that can be.

If the check engine light is on, take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. Most will do it for free. Once that is done, get the trouble code from the person and let me know what it is.
