Is there a way to tell if your car engine is frozen even if it will not start?

Hello,

To see if the engine is seized:
Try using a breaker bar to turn the crankshaft. If you are able to turn it then it is not frozen or locked up. If you cannot turn it then it is locked up.
If an engine gets seized while you are driving you will have to do a complete overhaul to get the engine to work again.
Also a seized engine will not start until it gets fixed.
