The EATC sytem in our vehicle does not heat the vehicle. We have only had the vehicle since July and have not had the need to use the heat until now. The air conditioning worked fine, however, when increasing the temp to try to warm the vehicle up the air nevers warms up. The defroster also blows cold. Is this something I need to have the dealer look at or could there be any easy fix for it?

You can run a self diagostic test key on simultaneously depress OFF and FLOOR then press AUTO within 2 sec. Display will show dash lines for 30 sec then codes will appear. Post them and I'll try and help. This is a very complex system and requires special test equipment but we maybe able to solve this.

That is a blend door failure they operate by motors. Car running operate AC up and down hot to cold if no movement or change in temp. Then a series of tests are needed. If you want to try click on site at bottom of reply and for $9.95 you get instructions and diagrams. Testing can be done with Ohm meter.
Some dash removal will be needed.
