Car died out and will not start but cranks over fast.. I somehow got it started and it drove fine for 2 days but now it is doing it again. I changed the spark plugs and fuel filter but it is still cranking fast. The car used to lunge forward at stops before this happened. The last time it worked I had it in park and was applying the gas when it stopped working. The coil is working I had it tested but it seems to not be getting spark. I can pull the spark plugs and see the gas shooting in so I know its getting some sort of gas but what can be causing it not to spark. I got it started once but only for 2 seconds (i counted) please help me with this problem! Thanks.

Unusually fast cranking sounds like a timing belt or chain. And if the cam is not turning because of a failed timing belt/chain, there would be no signal from the cam position sensor, which the system needs to generate a spark.

I recommend that you start with a compression test. If compression is low, you have a problem with the timing belt/chain. If compression is good, you need to look at the cam position sensor and crank position sensor.
