I have no heat in my vehicle. I checked the blend door and heater core and both working fine. When I open the blend door for heat cold air is cooling the heater core. It seams the air does not shut off. Keeps running.
Do you have an answer for me on how to fix problem?

I too am going through the exact same problem. The A/C seems to be overridding the heat and won't shut down. I did have to repair the connection on the blend arm and it works properly now but still that A/C remains on. Jim.

This worked for me after all was said and done.
Park the car on an incline with the front facing uphill
Open up the resevoir and leave cap off
Let car run until warmed up
Once warmed up, idle at 2000 rpm for a while
This allows any airlocks in the heater core to move through the system and "burp" the air out of the resevior.

Check heater lines at the firewall for corrosion and they cause coolant leak
and also the cause of the air in the system
