1996 Ford Taurus Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I own a '96 Ford Taurus and my cooling fan is not turning off. I have tried locating the cooling fan relay in the fuse box under the hood but have not been able to find it. My father "a mechanic" told me to try looking there. It has been at least 10years since he turned a wrench. I am not sure that it is the relay that is out. If it could be some thing else please let me know. Also if it is the relay, where else could it be?

This is not a regular looking relay, its a black box about 3 square inches thats usually located or attached to radiator shroud cover on drivers side. They call it a constant control relay module. It contains the fuel pump relay, ac relay and cooling fan relays. If your still having trpouble let me know
