Heater problem
1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Automatic

I have been trying to get heat in my car, but I am getting none at all. I recently hooked up clear tubing for my water lines to see if water is flowing through the engine and to my car (heater core). I found out that I have alot of air in my water hoses and cant seem to fill up my radiator and the hoses completely with water. HOW DO I GET THE AIR COMPLETELY OUT THE SYSTEM, so the water can catch all the heat from the engine and move it to my heater core. I have a thermostat in the car, but I need it to trap the water so the water can heat up.

Hi lilduke, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

You need to check and test the thermostat if okay check the heater core if its clogged-up and also the heater control valve if its functioning if okay-try bleeding the cooling system don't work -could be an air mix/blend/mode door problems, vacuum/actuators to include the HVAC control module.
