1995 Ford Taurus AC not working!

Last summer, I noticed the AC was working, but not as cool as it normally ran. I also noticed it seems to kick on and off (you could feel it as you drove). The other day, I tried to run the AC, and to no suprise it did not work (no cool air). I am not even sure if it is working. Any uggestions would be great on what the problem is (low freon or something worse). Thanks!

For sure your out of freon. You must have it charged then leak tested to find the source of the leak.

Pull the connector off the receiver-dryer bottle, big round black bottle located under the eec4 and abs connector mounts. Jump the connectors see if the compressor locks up, only run for a couple of seconds. If so, you can buy r134a with a connector, gauge and instructions.
