Greetings,
I noticed that there is a little leak of red Transmission fluid.
Could you please answer my questions below?
1. How to verify the correct level of the fluid? Do I need to start the car or can I use the dip stick when the car engine is turned off? Please provide some details.
2. What type of fluid should be added?

Thanks and best regards,

Check the fluid with engine and tranny at normal operating temp, engine running parked on level ground. Shift thru the gears, ending in park. Fluid should be within the crosshatch marks on the stick, use Mercon tranny fluid to fill it.
