Recently I have noticed I can drive my car about a mile and the oil light comes on about 2-3 minutes after it will start making a strong ticking noise ( not a knocking) When I pull over, Leaving the car run it smokes from the bottom of the motor. I don't have much power behind the pedal once this all happens.
My fiance changed the oil after using an engine flush and there are small (size of a ink pen tip) peices of metal. He then drove the car after putting oil back in the car and it s still doing it.

Sounds like the oil pump may be faulty ..also pen tip size pieces of metal in the oil is not a good sign ? have the pump and crankshaft etc. inspected !!
