1996 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 130 k miles

I have a 1996 Ford Ranger, 3.0 liter, 4x4, manual trans. Needs a new catalytic converter. The existing converter is a duel chamber (two converters in-line).
Napa has a "universal" converter but it only has one chamber. Will it work or will the P.C.M. Get a false reading, causing a failed emission test?

Fords arent as picky as some models on this, but make sure it IS listed as a direct replacement, not just a Universal for all apps. If the manufacturer say it will replace your, go ahead.
