First off, there is very little acceleation power on the highway, but that is the least of my worries. I just bought the truck. The check engine light is on which the seller assured me was just a faulty O2 sensor. But when i'm driving it in any gear or even sitting still, there is a click noise and then a half a second loss of power. It happens every 20 seconds or so. It sounds as though something is trying to turn on but doesn't. Any idea?

Your gonna have to check all of your relays in the fuse box first. I have a funny feeling this may have something to do with the defrost. Do you ever use it?

Actually, yes. I drove without the defroster on and it did not occur. The second I turned it on however, there was the click and power loss. You hit the nail right on the head there. Any idea what might be going on here?

The defroster, I believe, pulls the most amperage from your vehicle, and overtime the relays can get week, so If Im not mistaken, your gonna have to replace that relay, with a new one try that and we'll take it from there.
