Hate to be the bad news guy but, Sounds like the wiring or connection to the fuel pump is bad.

Good luck and let us know. :)

Whenever you pull a tank and then reinstall it you run the risk of pinching a wire.
The first place I would start is with the fuses. Are they intact?
If not replace and see if they solve the problem or they blow again.
If they blow you have a short somewhere. I always look at the last thing I touched. In other words pull the tank again and look closely at the wiring.
If the fuses and relays are good but still no pumping you need to follow the wiring back to the pump. A wiring diagram is a must.

Good luck. :) :)

It sounds like you have done one of three things lost your power to the pump by pinching a wire, two you have pinched the fuel lines. And thre you may have triggered the enerita switch which will shut the system down it is most time in the trunck if not there look in owners manual for locating of it. By jacking the car up you may have triggered it to off it is a red button locate it and push down in it to make sure it is on. Hope this helps ( NOS )

If your fuel pump is now working and the engine will run with fuel added to the throttle body you need to check that fuel injectors are firing.
