I have a 03 sable 52000 mi. 24 valve. Has automatic climate control. It worked fine tilll 3 wks. Ago. The a/c is charged and lines cool under the hood, but no cold air in car. Also no hot air at the floor when heater is on But heat at the upper vents is good. Ford dealer said the blend door was warped. They replaced the door. It worked for a 3 days, and did the same thing, I took it back to them, they worked on it 3 hours or so and said foam got behind door. It worked ok for a few days and now no a/c or heat at the floor again. I can see a lever moving at the heater case under the dash when I push in the buttons for lower heat. What can I do to fix, Is this a problem with these cars? SABLEGUY :x

There is a small electronic door control box by the gas pedal end, unbolt it and move the door manually, see what happens.

For merlin2021, I can not see any electronic door control box near the gas pedal side. I do see a box faceing the rear with a slotted link and wires

Watch the box when you turn control knob on dash, foes it turn the door arm? If not take it off and move it by hand.

MERLIN I have push bottons no knobs for the auto climate controls, but I don't see any movement when buttons are pushed on the slotted silver link, the one faceing rear from the box with a wire harness too it. I do have movement at the top left lever. That one moves too different positions. I have some air at bottom vents but not hot air. Same condition at top vents, and temp on dig. Read out is 90. IF I set it to 60 for a/c, there is no a/c air it is warm air. Like I said it was at dealer 2 times 1st said it was blend door 2nd time said it was foam caught in some thing. One other thing is the battery was replaced right before I had all this trouble, Try to give some more of your throughts on this THANKS PAUL

Well the box with the wires is what controls the door. Take it off and move it by hand. See what happens!
