Sorry, its a 1998 Taurus with a 6 cylinder engine

Pretty much buried under the right side of the dash. The removal instructions are as follows.

Disengage instrument panel insulator from instrument panel reinforcement and remove from instrument panel.
Disconnect blower electrical connector.

Unsnap instrument panel upper finish panel from instrument panel.

On autolamp-equipped vehicles, disconnect electrical connector from light sensor amplifier.

Unsnap and remove instrument panel finish end panel from RH side of instrument panel.
Remove three screws retaining instrument panel to upper cowl top panel.
Remove two screws at RH side of instrument panel.
Remove three blower motor mounting plate screws.
Pull instrument panel away from cowl and remove blower motor from A/C evaporator housing.
