My husband and I got a beautiful 67 mustang fastback last summer. Pressure builds up in the fuel tank after we drive it so we are always opening the gas cap to release the pressure. One time it was parked on a hill and the tank was fairly full and gas was running out because of the pressure. How do we correct this?

Recommend you do two (2) things. First, go down to the local Ford dealer Parts Department and ask them if they no if the car requires a "vented" gas cap and if so, then recommend you replace it if Ford has one it will be expensive, but most likely you will need to go top a local car parts (NAPA, PepBoys, etc.) And see what they have a well, sounds like your old cap is bad & that does happen, and some cars require a 'vented' cap.
