2003 Ford Mustang CHECK FUEL CAP LIGHT ON

My check fuel cap light is on and I do not know what this is about. Dose it have something to do with my engine?

Could just be the filler cap is not on correctly. Could also mean you have a slight leak in the EVAP system. Have your cars PCM/ECU read for faults. The codes should help ypu pinpoint the location of the fault?
