1989 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

Hi, my oil pressure gauge has been jumping up and down. It will be in the middle then fall to 0. It will go back to normal after a few seconds but it keeps doing it. My oil is full, no noises, and no leaks. Thinking it may be the oil pressure sending unit. What do you think? Thanks

Suspect faulty oil pressure sending unit. Located on left rear of engine for the 2.3L engine or the left front of engine for the 5.0L engine.
