1973 Ford Mustang Heater Core Removal

I have followed the directions (verbatum) that you supplied have gone so far as to purchase a 1973 Ford Mustang (Chiltons) repair manual, and cannot seem to be able to remove the plemtum (Heater box) from behind the dash. It does not have AC, but the Heater box stretches to almost the center of the drivers side area. I cannot remove it, it is physically too big to come out from behind the dash

You did take out the glove box door and glove box? All the cables and ducting is disconnect right. Just asking some times things can be missed. Get back to me. If need be include a pic and maybe I can see something that is holding you up.
