2004 Ford Freestar tires Move a little

Transmission problem
2004 Ford Freestar V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

was driving my van got up to 55mph then van quite moving still in drive engine running but would not go on the lift tires move a little but thats it on the ground will not move but starts

To me, it sounds like transmission or no voltage to, and/or failed electronic components, controller/Sensors/switches, sungear or plugged filter, low fluid, blocked passages, torque converter or solenoids, broken or missing bolts at flex plate, etc.

But, if the engine doesn't rev like a slipping or disengaged transmission would suggest, that would really be bad.
You can have it diagnosed to determine internal/external problems. That would be my suggestion if you aren't sure what to do.
