Ok the other night the truck started loosing power then finally dies. We cleaned the fuel water seperator and changed the filter. Got it running for a total of 3 miles then same problem. This time we played hell getting it running, tried blowing compressed air into the tank limped another mile then shut her down. What I noticed is the manual says the electric fuel pump on the frame should only run for 2 seconds? Ours runs 20-30 seconds. Also there is two small metal lines coming in to the fuel/water seperator on the pasenger side that seem to be extremely lose? Especially the forward line. The old filter was really bad and caked with a reddish rust color. When I open the bleed valve there seems to be alot of pressure in the housing? Something I should add is when this first happened we ended up smoking the starter and locking it up. Theres a new one installed. But at first the solanoid on the fire wall would not activate the starter until we jumped the terminals. But after that it started working again.

I recently had this problem. First check housing fuel clean housing with lint free rag. Use compressed air to blow through RETURN LINE small line with fuel cap removed. Never blow air through SUPPLY line. If this is clear. Drop tank remove sending unit At the bottom there is a cap which which is held in place by 3 locking tabs this is a tricky something to work with use small picks or screwdrivers pull on the piece there is an O-ring which holds this in place remove and ther will be two microfilters under this use carb cleaner to cleaner to clean these. 1can should sufficient reassembly is opposite. Also there is a plastic tube onthis housing which is on which there is a piece if soft rubber house tthis is the pickup line if this is missing look in the tank as this was probably blown off by the use of compressed air if the air was used on the SUPPLY line attach this T-Shaped line back 3_M yellow adhesive let set under hard and reinstall in tank. Please usecare when removeing and installing this as this part is around 300- 400 bucks lol
