2005 Ford F-250 4X4 system

4x4 selector switch in cab illuminates but dose not engage 4x4. Manual locks on weel hubs do engage 4x4. What is the problem? How do I fix it? And where do I get information on the 4x4 system, such as drawings?

If you have manual hubs, the automatic system wont work. If I misunderstand you, then check the vacuum lines at thehubs for damage, this is a common issue with these trucks. For further info, you can click on the"car repair manual" link to sign up for Mitchell.
