Overheating

When pulling my trailer with lawn equipment behind my 1993 F150, it runs hotter. Normally the temp. Guage reads between the "O" or the "R" in "NORMAL". It steadily climbs to the "L" on long trips and pushes the coolant out the reserve container when I arrive to my destination and shut the truck off. Is my thermos stat on with too high of a "kick in" temp? It was changed out a year ago.

I was haveing the same prob with my ford probe and it ended up being the head gasket. Get a compression test done to find the problem

Have your radiator cap replaced also and put a colder thermostate in it that will help for sure. If your oil is milky or white then go for the head gasket
