1998 Ford F-150 Rattle at start up

My son's truck has this odd rattle when he starts his truck up, but once it has started it goes away. It just seems to happen when he cranks the key and it has it's initial start up. I noticed it happened right after I had the transmission fluid drained and filled several months ago.

Hi there,

I would be checking that he engine oil filter is not draining back and you are hearing a bit of engine noise as the oil pressure picks up, replace the filter with one that has a drain back valve fitted, ask your spare pats supplier to advise ea suitable brand as I am in Aust and am unsure of your options.
