1998 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

yeah I just got this truck as a gift for my birthday its a ford f150 1998, with about 125k miles on it I started driving it on the 23rd of jan. And now im starting to get small problems with the car, my question is, I just filled up my tank and I drove about 80+ miles after filling it up and my gas gauge hasn't moved. It still says its full, and since driving it I know my truck drinks gas like its water,

so what could I do to fix this error before ending up on the side of the road with an empty tank.

Hi there,

This will be a faulty tank sender unit, this is internal of the fuel tank and is normally not repairable, I would get a mechanic to remove and check it out.
